Chris Klein
President
Chris joined his father at Klein Insurance in 1997. What Chris likes most about the insurance business is the opportunity to help people understand and feel good about their insurance protection. In 2008, Chris purchased Klein Insurance from the Agency’s founder (and Chris’s Father) Ken Klein. Currently, Chris primarily works with agency acquisitions and commercial insurance. In his spare time, Chris enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and is an avid fly fisherman.
Jessica Janke
Agent
Jessica has worked with Klein Insurance since 2014. Jessica’s main area of focus is Property & Casualty insurance but is also licensed in health insurance. What Jessica most enjoys about working in the insurance industry are the clients she gets to work for and meet, and the fact that each day presents new challenges. When not at work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her 6 year old Chihuahua, Kevin, and also enjoys going to movies, reading books, & poetry.
Ken Klein
Founder & Agent
Ken began his career in the insurance industry in 1967 calling on Educators as an Agent with a national insurance provider. In 1976, Ken started Klein Insurance in Eagle Bend, MN. Ken operated as a captive agent until 1988 when he purchased a local Independent Insurance Agency. From 1988 to 1997 Ken was the sole operator of Klein Insurance. During this time, Ken used his extensive insurance expertise to grow the agency in many markets. Ken still maintains an active insurance license and is active in the day to day operations of Klein Insurance as well as providing his invaluable insights and advice to the operation. In his spare time Ken loves to hunt, fish and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Betty Klein
Customer Relationship Specialist
Elizabeth “Betty” Klein (Ken’s wife and Chris’ mother) joined the Klein Insurance team in 2009 after a career in teaching. Betty is the customer relationship specialist at Klein Insurance. Betty’s primary role at Klein Insurance is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through frequent contact with clients and oversight of all client communications. In her spare time, Betty loves to garden, travel and spend time with her family.
Kalista Hubbard
Insurance Agent
Kalista joined Klein Insurance in December 2022, bringing her expertise as a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance professional. Her dedication to our mission is exemplified through her passion for assisting clients and her commitment to continuous learning. Kalista finds fulfillment in the dynamic nature of her role, where she gains new insights daily while making a positive impact on people's lives.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Kalista embraces an active lifestyle, enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. She also values quality time spent with her fiancé and their three beloved pets, as well as indulging in travel and nurturing relationships with friends and family.
